Hair loss can happen at any age. It can be provoked by a lack of vitamins and minerals, a chronic disease, a hormonal problem, a psychological distress or an infection.

A full blood test needs to be performed for all hair loss as well as a clinical examination, especially on the scalp. If all the tests show unfavourable results, a FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) can be considered. I prefer this technique to « into strips » because FUE does not result in a big scar (complex due to its recovery time).

The hair extraction and implantation are manually done, hair by hair, with a strict visual control of each graft to make sure that the transplant is functioning. This type of implantation allows the hair redistribution in the most natural and homogenous fashion. It is equally possible to reimplant eyelashes, eyebrows and beard with the same result.
